BorlandBuilder6: How to prevent flickering?


Have you ever tried to make Windows Vista/7 styled button in BorlandBuilder6 but got flickering?

I find applications that “flicker” annoying to use, for this one reason: If the user-interface has been badly coded, then what does this say about the rest of the application, the part that you trust your data with? 

A guy from www.catch22.net spoke the truth.

No one wants his/her users to find themselves thinking the way quote says, so here is very simple solution to this problem, for Delphi:

And here is “translation” for C++. Open FormCreate event, and add following to it:

Form1->DoubleBuffered=true;

Run application and see improvements!
